Overview

This is a wine that represents great value in the range of Voerzio's wines. The fruit is selected from his prime Barolo vineyards and in essence this wine is in every sense of the word, akin to Barolo. It is well suited to ageing or can be enjoyed upon release with a generous decanting and by pairing it with foods that have a rich fat content. Leg of lamb or beef rib eye cuts would be great accompaniment to this wine.

The Wine Advocate - Robert Parker -91+ points

Barolo fans who want to experience the magic of Voerzio's Barolos without spending the small fortunes required to acquire them will want to put the 2006 Langhe Nebbiolo at the top of their shopping lists. This remarkably polished, elegant wine reveals tons of fruit in a rich, powerful style. The tannins are incredibly finessed and elegant as the wine literally covers every corner of the palate. Most producers would kill for a wine like the 2006 Langhe Nebbiolo. It is incredible to consider that here it is one of the entry- level offerings. In a word: superb. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2026.
