Overview
Roberto Voerzio is one of the stars of Piedmont and he has a modern approach to wine making. He fully subscribes to the philosophy that great wines start with great vineyard practice and he sports the lowest yields in the Langhe zone. This wine comes from his newest Barbera project with fruit coming from the Ceretto vineyard.

Reviews
The Wine Advocate - Robert Parker -91 points
The 2006 Barbera d'Alba Cerreto is simply superb, as masses of rich, concentrated dark fruit, spices, chocolate, leather and licorice emerge from the glass. The wine possesses stunning opulence, class and sheer finesse. This is easily the best vintage of the Cerreto ever made. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2016.
