Overview
This refreshing lightly sparkling white wine is obtained from 100% Prosecco grapes grown in the Valdobbiadene hills in the Veneto, about an hour north of Venice. Its easy drinking style makes it a favourite sparkler for parties and receptions. It is also a great apertivo as it enhances the appetite and is thus a nice pre-dinner wine. In Venice it is the happy hour favourite and the Venetians belly up to the bar for glasses of this as a civilized daily ritual.

Wine Advocate Issue 178 08.31.08 - Robert Parker
89 Points. Nino Franco’s Prosecco Rustico offers up classic notes of white peaches, flowers and spices. This medium-bodied sparkling wine possesses excellent persistence and a clean finish. This is just about as good as Prosecco gets at non-vintage level.
