Overview
Born of the skilful combination of the two grapes that represent Piedmont, Nebbiolo and Barbera, together with the experience and passion of the distillery founder, Paolo Berta, who started reserving the best batches of each harvest year for his own children. The grape pomaces from the most popular areas are separately distilled in steam copper boilers with the traditional discontinuous system. Once blended, the grappas rest in barrels of different woods for twenty years. The colour is amber; the bouquet is complex, full and enveloping with great personality, a perfect harmony of sensations in which the aromas of ripe fruits, cherries, tobacco, coconut and vanilla stand out.
