Overview
Owner Marinella Camerani is dedicated to her land. After traversing one of the steepest driveways by any standard you arrive at her beautiful winery and vineyards. The lands on the very top of a large hill have an enviable view towards the gulf of Venice and north toward the pre-Alps. The vineyards for her elegant ripasso are situated in the “Bine Longhe” and “Cavallero” areas. Fruit is carefully selected at harvest and her wine makers follow careful fermentation with frequent breaking up of the cap by hand during the wine making process. And ripasso is rapasso because in March the new Valpolicella wine is pumped (ripassato) onto the pomace residue of the recent batch of Amarone adding considerable character to the wine.
