This is the top wine from this famous estate in Puglia. It has received Italy’s top award from Gambero Rosso on a regular basis and is a model wine for southern Italian winemaking. This Salice Salentino is made from 90% Negroamaro grapes (from 50 year old vines) and 10% Malvasia grapes that are carefully selected from the estate’s vineyards. This is a big southern wine that lives up to its fame and on the palate it is thick, rich and full in body and texture.
