Overview
This is Prosecco at its best and most charming! Valdobbiadene is located in the northeast of Italy in the region called the Veneto. This is the region that we know for Amarone and Soave – and as well for Prosecco. Grape characteristics- the soil and the climate give birth to this light and refreshing sparkling wine. It is easy to drink and match with many kinds of food. Prosecco is also typically served before a meal as an apertivo. Here in our Canadian market, it is also a versatile brunch wine.

Reviews
The Wine Advocate - Robert Parker -90 points
The 2007 Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Primo Franco is a delicious, well-delineated wine. It offers a cream-textured expression of sweet ripe peaches, mint and jasmine in a medium-bodied but rich style. This gorgeous, beautifully balanced wine is another stunning Prosecco from Nino Franco. The Primo Franco has 30 grams per liter residual sugar which contributes to its expansive textured.
