Overview
In its native Piedmont, Dolcetto is the popular red wine of choice, a universal wine for everyday enjoyment. Piedmontese like to jest that purple-hued Dolcetto courses through their veins. Its rich distinctive color instantly sets Dolcetto apart from other leading red grape varieties of the region, notably the noble Nebbiolo and Barbara, which are characteristically lighter in color and garnet-complected. Boschetti is a full bodied single vineyard Dolcetto from a prime vineyard plot.
