Overview
They have been producing estate wines since 1880, the year in which the present day winery was established. A family run estate, it was handed down through the generations to the first-born son Franz Haas. Through the years and the constant commitment of its owners and employees, this wine making estate has evolved into today’s innovative winery. Indigenous grape variety who needs clayey terrains to grow best. The wine shows intense aromas, good structure and a full body. Some people ask why we are not producing the common Gewurztraminer grown in Alto Adige. In reality, they are one and the same grape variety. Gewurztraminer is nothing else than the German translation. It was our choice since the beginning to use ony the Italian language on our labels.
