Overview
Feudi di Romans is a winery located on the Isonzo plain in Friuli. The vines for this wine are grown in vineyards on the left bank of the Isonzo River, which is closer to the sea. This proximity provides a benefit of warm breezes from the Adriatic Sea combined with cool Alpine breezes from the Carnic and Julian Alps. This is a kind of natural air conditioning process that gives Friulan wines, particularly the white ones, great character. The result is that the grapes tend to ripen slowly and evenly.
