Overview
Campania is a very historic wine region in southern Italy that is enjoying a great revival of popularity (the major city in the area is Naples). Feudi di San Gregorio is one of the wine industry phenomena in Italy today and they are one of the most talked about wineries. In the last four Gambero Rosso Guides they have racked up eight coveted Tre Bicchieri Awards for various wines in their range. This grape has been famous since classical times. It is also the noblest white grape in southern Italy.

- Grapes are crushed and left on the skins for a brief cold soak. Juice undergoes alcoholic fermentation in s s vats. No malolactic fermention.

- 3 months in stainless steel tanks then bottled.

- Deep straw yellow.

- Intense and lingering aroma alternates between smooth scents of white fruit and hints of vanilla, fern and mint.

- Crisp, full on the palate with citrus and a mineral finish. Nice acidity on the finish.

Firm, almost steely aromas with a touch of anise and honey. Fascinating minerally flavors, resembling a rich, ripe Chablis, but more expressive.
