Overview
Cortona DOC produced from the harvest of the estate’s youngest vines, expresses their aim to develop a wine showing fresh purity of generous fruit and roundness. In terms of the vineyard management, the amount of fruit per plant (800 gm) and the pursuit of quality, this wine is identical to Il Bosco. The difference is that Il Bosco comes from older vines and the maceration period is longer than that of the Cortona Syrah. The briefer period encourages the characteristic display of supple fruity qualities.
