Overview
Fontarca a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Viognier. The grapes come from densely planted vineyards of 7000 vines per hectare on a vineyard area called Fontarca in the hamlet of Manzano. This is a slightly hilly area, which contains mostly clay in the soil. Yields are very low, between 5-6 tons per hectare, or about 800 grams per plant.

- Chardonnay is vinified in 225-litre new French oak for 8 months on the lees. Viognier in 2 year old oak.
