Overview
Barbi has record of wine making since 1352 and they are one of the original houses of Brunello. This red wine has been produced since 1892 and was awarded many times for its quality. It is the “heart” of their production and it is made with 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes from some of the best vineyards in Montalcino.

- Fermentation lasts 18 days with a slow and gradual increase of the temperature, kept under control in stainless steel vats. Racked into oak.

- A bouquet of red and black berries and cherry with hints of spices and licorice.
