Roberto Voerzio Barolo La Serra 2004 – 97 Points
Offers aromas of blackberry, licorice and tar. Intense and full-bodied, with a wonderful concentration of fruit, supersilky tannins and a complex finish of pure fruit and Indian spices. Superb for the vintage. Best after 2012. 405 cases made. – James Suckling
Roberto Voerzio Barolo Brunate 2004 – 95 Points
Dark ruby in color. Aromas of blackberry, licorice and aniseed. Full-bodied, chewy and very rich, with a tannic yet polished texture. Not giving much now, but there's excellent structure and balance. Muscular. Best after 2012. 310 cases made. – James Suckling

Wonderful aromas of strawberry, orange peel and fresh flowers. Full-bodied, with a solid, dense core of fruit, but comes across balanced and refined. Supersilky and seductive. Very, very long and balanced. Best after 2012. 145 cases made. – James Suckling

Plenty of blackberry, lavender and milk chocolate on the nose. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, fruity finish. Balanced and pretty. Best after 2011. 530 cases made. – James Suckling

Very perfumed, with intense aromas of plum and blackberry. Full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a long, silky-textured finish. There's lovely finesse and balance. Very refined for Voerzio. Best after 2011. 515 cases made. – James Suckling
